
Women's Soccer Announces Competitive Upcoming 2026 Schedule

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Now official, head coach Samantha Thomist and the Gardner-Webb women's soccer program have announced its upcoming fall 2026 schedule, featuring nine games at Greene-Harbison Stadium
The Runnin' Bulldogs will begin the Thomsit era at Greene-Harbison Stadium on August 16th, completing the second game of a home-and-home with nearby Queens University at 6 pm. That will be the first of three consecutive home games to open the slate, with Emory & Henry visiting Boiling Springs on August 20th at 2 pm, and Appalachian State on August 23rd at 6 pm
Following that home stand, the Runnin' Bulldogs will hit the road for three straight games. GWU travels down to Wofford on August 27th at 6 pm, before a date with VMI on August 30th at 1 pm. Gardner-Webb finishes its first road swing of 2026 at nationally ranked Clemson on September 3rd at 7 pm
Further into September, Gardner-Webb will host Montreat on September 7th at 4 pm, followed by one of the team's longest away trips of the year, at Georgia State on September 13th at 6 pm. The Dawgs then come back to Boiling Springs to put a wrap on non-conference play against Jacksonville State on September 16th at 2 pm
Big South play gets started on September 23rd at 7 pm at Presbyterian, followed by an away game at Charleston Southern on September 26th at 3 pm
Into October, the Dawgs host UNC Asheville in their home league opener, scheduled for October 3rd at 6 pm. After visiting Radford on October 10th at 7 pm, GWU returns home to finish the regular season with three of the final four games at Greene-Harbison Stadium.
Gardner-Webb faces High Point at home on October 14th at 6 pm, followed by a short trek over to Winthrop on October 17th at 1 pm. The final two home games back to back in Boiling Springs see USC Upstate in town on October 28th at 7 pm, and Longwood on October 31st at 6 pm
