2017 at Gardner-Webb: Started 15 games on the mound throughout the season … Posted a 4-6 record … Tossed 98.0 innings, the most of any GWU pitcher … Led the team with 53 strikeouts and a 3.49 ERA … Hurled eight shutout innings with six strikeouts in his season-debut, leading GWU to a 5-0 win over Canisius (2-19) … Earned Big South Pitcher of the Week honors for that performance (2-20) … Struck out a season-high 11 batters in 7.0 innings of work against UMBC (3-5) … Tossed a complete game at ETSU, allowing just one run on five hits with four strikeouts, earning a 5-1 win (3-11) … Earned Big South Pitcher of the Week honors for the second time of the season following that performance (3-13) … Worked seven scoreless innings while scattering four base hits in a no-decision at Presbyterian (4-29).

2016 at Gardner-Webb: Made 16 appearances throughout the season, including 11 starts … Posted a 5-5 record on the season with a 5.02 ERA, with all five wins coming as a starter … Pitched 6.0 scoreless innings in a 7-1 win over Delaware State, fanning a season-high seven batters (2-21)  … Hurled 6.2 scoreless innings in a 5-0 win at Campbell (4-10) … Struck out six batters and allowed only one run in a 3-1 win over Presbyterian (3-26) … Allowed no runs in his final three appearances of the season.

2015 at Gardner-Webb: One of the league’s top freshmen relievers … Made a team-high 20 appearances with one start … Went 4-2 with a 3.00 ERA and two saves in 33.0 innings of work … Did not allow a home run all season … Fanned 29 batters and issued only eight walks … Held teams to a .233 average with runners on base … Did not allow an earned run over his first four appearances, picking up two relief wins … Fanned four batters in 2.0 scoreless frames vs. Valparaiso (2/27) … Worked a season-high 5.1 innings of relief in a no decision vs. UNC Asheville (3/29) … Fanned five batters in that game … Worked 4.2 scoreless innings with three strikeouts to beat Presbyterian (3/16).

High School: Hard-throwing righty who was a two-way standout at Southlake Christian (N.C.) Academy … Went 5-3 with a 1.48 ERA and a save in 12 appearances as a senior … Worked 66.1 innings and fanned 88 batters with only 12 walks allowed … Batted .313 with 21 RBI, seven doubles and eight steals on offense … Was 2-0 with a 2.59 ERA and 44 strikeouts in just 28.0 innings of work as a junior on the mound … Batted .412 with 16 stolen bases offensively.
