
Snow Forces Saturday Game To Be Suspended In 0-0 Tie

BOILING SPRINGS - Gardner-Webb and Dayton were locked in a scoreless tie with one out in the top of the sixth Saturday, when the game was suspended due to snow.
The Runnin' Bulldogs and Flyers will attempt to complete the game on Sunday at 12:30 pm and play a third and final game of the weekend series following the conclusion of the suspended contest.
Gardner-Webb starter Andrew Barnett fanned six batters and scattered four singles in 5.1 innings of work before the delay (three walks). Dayton starter Nick Buettgen fanned three and gave up three hits in 5.0 innings of work (one hit batter).
Dayton took advantage of a single, a hit batter and a walk to load the bases with one out in the sixth.
