The junior forward, earned First Team All-Conference honors for her performance on the field, and also was named the Big South Conference Women's Soccer Scholar Athlete of the year. Hooe is the first student-athlete from GWU to win the award, as she sports a 3.91 and is majoring in chemistry.
Abee was one of four players for the Runnin' Bulldogs to play and start in all 18 games this season, and for her career started in all but one game. Abee helped to anchor a defensive core for Gardner-Webb this season, that posted a 1.41 GAA, which ranked sixth in the Big South and was the lowest in a season since 2010.
