Baseball Has League-High 24 Student-Athletes Make Big South Presidential Honor Roll

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced its 2016-17 Presidential Honor Roll earlier Wednesday afternoon, with Gardner-Webb baseball having the most honorees in its sport with 24.
The Runnin' Bulldogs also had one of the three baseball student-athletes across the Big South to post a perfect grade-point average for the 2016-17 academic year, as Eric Jones earned a 4.0 GPA for the year.
To earn Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA throughout the academic year. Across the league, 178 baseball student-athletes made the honor roll.
