Gardner-Webb Baseball To Begin Dawg Bone World Series On Thursday

BOILING SPRINGS – Gardner-Webb baseball will close out fall practice with the 2021 Dawg Bone World Series this week, with the opening game set for Thursday afternoon at 4:00.
Admission to each of the three games in the series is free and the action will stream live on Facebook.
Game two is slated for Friday at 3:30 pm and the finale will be on Saturday at 10:45 am. All games will be played at John Henry Moss Stadium / Bill Masters Field.
The series will pit the Pizza Ballers against the TNT Titans, with Gardner-Webb's roster distributed well between the two sides.
Coach Jim Chester's squad has competed at a high level throughout the fall season, competing in several exhibition games in Boiling Springs with great success.
Following the conclusion of the Dawg Bone World Series, the squad will get back to off the field training in advance of a highly anticipated 2022 regular season.
