Volleyball’s Midweek Match at Winthrop Moved to November 10

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb University women's volleyball team has announced that its upcoming midweek match at Winthrop University has been pushed back a day.
The schedule adjustment will now pin the Runnin' Bulldogs against the Eagles in Big South Conference action on Wednesday, Nov. 10 in Rock Hill, S.C.
The two teams were originally scheduled to play their second and final head-to-head matchup of the season a day prior, Tuesday, Nov. 9, before it was bumped to the following day.
Winthrop won the first contest this season over Gardner-Webb by a 3-0 final score on Sept. 24 in Boiling Springs. Kylee Garrison led GWU with 12 kills and Lauryn Rocassin nearly posted a triple-double, while the 'Dogs were limited to .062 hitting as a team with 31 kills on 129 attacks.
First serve for next Wednesday's match inside Winthrop Coliseum is slated for 6 p.m.
