Runnin’ Bulldogs hit the back of the net four times in loss to the Dolphins
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Gardner-Webb University women's lacrosse was bested in their Saturday afternoon game at Jacksonville University by a final score of 21-4. Jamie Weber, Ella Currey and Victoria Fischetti score for the Runnin' Bulldogs.
Jacksonville took at early lead against Gardner-Webb scoring four in the first quarter and seven in the second to GWU' one goal scored by Fischetti with Emma Duchscherer on the assist. The Dolpins tallied 21 by the 8:40 mark in the fourth quarter. Weber scored a pair for the 'Dawgs at 7:24 and 5:54 assisted by Fischetti on the second. Ella Currey scored the final goal of the contest for GWU.
The Runnin' Bulldogs return to Spangler Stadium on Wednesday, March 6 to host UMass-Lowell at 4:00 p.m.
