GWU tallies 11 on 11 hits in 7 inning route of Blue Hose
Tommy Tavarez got things started in the second with a two-run shot to left center. Max Smyley fallowed in the third with a solo homerun.
PC's lone run came in the fourth on a single with the bases loaded.
Gardner-Webb responded in the bottom frame putting up four more runs with Lawson Knight, Smyley, Wade Kelly, and Ryan Kennell all getting RBI's.
GWU put up four more in the sixth inning with Kennell singling scoring two, Humberto Torres bringing in Kennell with a SAC fly, and Nick Capozzi scoring on wild pitch. The game was called after the seventh inning 11-1.
Parker Dixon picked up the win, and Fenix Dogiacomo the loss.
Gardner-Webb will return to John Henry Moss Stadium on Tuesday, April 2 for a 6:00 p.m. first pitch against Western Carolina University.
