
Alec Burns Named Big South Player of the Week

Burns picks up his first conference weekly award of the 2024 season
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Alec Burns has been named Big South Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday, May 13.
A graduate student from Amherst, New Hampshire, Burns Burns tallied eight hits, seven RBIs, and three home runs for GWU over four games this past week. This is his first conference weekly award of the season, and Gardner-Webb's fourth in total.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will be back at home on Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. to host Queens University of Charlotte.
