Anaya Harris has been named All-Big South Second Team
After improving to an 8-win conference campaign in 2024-25, the Runnin' Bulldogs rank seventh in the Big South Preseason Poll. Defending conference champions High Point take the top spot, followed by Longwood in second, Radford in third, and Winthrop in fourth. Charleston Southern comes in at fifth, ahead of USC Upstate in sixth and Gardner-Webb in seventh. Rounding out the poll are Presbyterian in eighth and UNC Asheville in ninth
On the All-Big South Second Team, Harris represents the Runnin' Bulldogs. The Raleigh, N.C. native played in eight games in 2024-25, averaging 6.9 points per game and 4.1 rebounds. Harris was previously named Big South Conference Freshman of the Year during a breakout 2023-24 campaign at Gardner-Webb, leading the Runnin' Bulldogs on offense and defense with 7.8 points per game, a team second-best 42% from the field, 1.3 steals per game, and all in just 22 minutes per contest
