
McBride Lands Sixth Big South Libero of The Week Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the league office, graduate libero Nalani McBride has been named Big South Libero of The Week for the sixth time this season, following two wins from the Runnin' Bulldogs this past week
Continuing an excellent individual season once more, McBride posted 17 digs in a win over Lees-McRae during the mid-week, 23 against Charleston Southern on Friday night, then 20 in a clutch win over Presbyterian on Saturday, averaging 20 a game for the week. Going into the final stretch of the campaign, McBride remains on course for the school record of 660 digs in a season
McBride continues to lead the nation in digs (590) and digs per set (5.67) as well, and reached 1000 for her collegiate career between GWU and Temple in the second set of the Runnin' Bulldogs 3-1 win over Radford last weekend
Gardner-Webb returns to action in Big South play on Friday night, November 7th at USC Upstate
