Baseball Closes Out 2025 Season With 14-4 Loss Versus Charleston Southern

Nick Capozzi and Tanner Thomas led the way for the Runnin' Bulldogs with two hits each while Capozzi also added a team-high two RBIs. Dale Francis Jr. launched his team-leading 18th homerun of the year.
Charleston Southern wasted no time putting runs on the board, scoring 10 times over its four at-bats. Francis put the Runnin' Bulldogs on the board in the bottom of the fourth with a solo shot deep over the center field wall.
The Buccaneers tacked on a single run in the fifth before Capozzi joined the long ball parade with a two-run shot in the home half of the fifth. However, CSU posted the next three runs of the contest while pushing out to a 14-3 advantage. Thomas capped the scoring for both sides with a solo homer to center in the eighth.
