Legette Lands Second Big South Freshman of The Week Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the league office, freshman guard Makayla Legette of the Gardner-Webb women's basketball team has been named Big South Freshman of The Week for the second time this season
In a win on Saturday at Charleston Southern, Legette scored 14 points, shot 6-of-13 from the floor, and added four rebounds, four assists and two steals as the Runnin' Bulldogs scored a key victory early in Big South play. Legette also posted eight points on 4-of-9 shooting with two rebounds, one assist and one steal at Radford last Wednesday night
The Runnin' Bulldogs next contest is scheduled for Wednesday night, January 21st at home against Presbyterian
